Turkish Delights
Temptation can make life hard for a chap on a diet. On a recent trip to Stoke Newington High Street, I came across this appealing culinary establishment.
Not being a Turkish speaker myself, I assume that the name does not translate as annoyed, bad-tempered, cantankerous, crotchety, fretful, grouchy, grumpy, irascible, petulant, quarrelsome, quick-tempered, ratty, sullen, touchy and waspish... but perhaps is the singular form of the plural testes. Anyone for sweetbread kebabs?
